A method and system for tracking an object by generating GPS coordinates for the object and a bearing associated with a movement of the object. The GPS coordinates include a latitude, a longitude, and an altitude, which are processed. The GPS coordinates can be processed to correlate the altitude of the object with an identifier that identifies a level within a structure. An icon representing the object then can be accurately located in a first view of a three dimensional model. An indicator can be associated with the icon to indicate the object's level, a bearing of the object, and/or the object's GPS coordinates. The object's GPS coordinates can be compared with a second object location to determine dispatch instructions. The object can be a person, a vehicle, watercraft or an aircraft.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un système permettant de suivre un objet par génération de coordonnées GPS dudit objet et d'un relèvement associé au déplacement de cet objet. Les coordonnées GPS comprennent une latitude, une longitude et une altitude qui sont traitées. Elles peuvent être traitées afin de corréler l'altitude de l'objet avec un identificateur qui identifie un niveau dans une structure. Une icône représentant l'objet peut ensuite être précisément localisée dans une première visualisation d'un modèle tridimensionnel. Un indicateur peut être associé à l'icône afin d'indiquer le niveau, le relèvement et/ou les coordonnées GPS de l'objet. Les coordonnées GPS de cet objet peuvent être comparées à une seconde localisation de l'objet afin de déterminer des instructions d'acheminement. L'objet peut être une personne, un véhicule, un navire ou un aéronef.
