Embodiments of the present invention are directed to a customizable bio- manufacturing system which includes a manufacturing space having a first air handling system for providing supply air and a second air handling system for handling exhaust air, the supply air system being optionally provided with at least one of filtration, heating, cooling and or humidity control and a plurality of portable modules provided within the manufacturing space. At least one module having an interior capable of being interconnected with another module interior and each module's interior includes one or more components to perform at least one specific task of a biological, chemical, and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing process. At least one module includes an on-board environmental control system for controlling an environment within the module and a connection means for interconnecting the module interior with another module interior. The system also includes a central controller operating to at least perform one or more of operation and information collection for the operation of at least one of the system and one or more modules.
Des modes de réalisation de l'invention concernent un système de fabrication biologique personnalisable qui comprend un espace de fabrication possédant un premier système pneumatique permettant d'alimenter de l'air et un second système pneumatique destiné à l'évacuation de l'air. Ce système d'alimentation d'air est éventuellement pourvu d'au moins une commande de filtration, de chauffage, de refroidissement et d'humidité et d'une pluralité de modules portables placés à l'intérieur de l'espace de fabrication. Au moins un module possède un intérieur capable d'être interconnecté avec un autre intérieur de module et chaque intérieur de module comprend un ou plusieurs éléments permettant d'effectuer au moins une tâche spécifique d'un processus de fabrication biologique, chimique et/ou pharmaceutique. Au moins un module comprend un système de commande environnementale embarquée destinée à commander un environnement à l'intérieur du module et un organe de connexion destiné à interconnecter l'intérieur du module avec un autre intérieur de module. Ce système comprend aussi un contrôleur central fonctionnant de manière à effectuer au moins une ou plusieurs opérations et la collecte d'informations de façon à faire fonctionner le système et/ou un ou plusieurs modules.
