A system and method for measuring a quality parameter of a harvested crop (50) are provided. Specifically, the system is adapted to be carried by a harvesting device (H) such that a sensor (20) is enclosed in a controlled environment and such that the sensor is capable of precisely and reliably measuring the quality parameter while the harvesting device is in operation. The system includes a verification device (60) and an actuator device (25) contained within the controlled environment. The actuator device periodically conveys the sensor device to at least one of a verification position (70, 80, 110) relative to the verification device and a measurement position (100). Thus, the sensor device may be periodically and reliably referenced and/or validated while in use in harsh agricultural environments such that the sensor device is capable of accurately measuring the quality parameter as the crop is harvested.
L'invention concerne un système et un procédé de mesure d'un paramètre de qualité d'une culture récoltée. De manière spécifique, le système est adapté de manière à être porté par un dispositif de récolte, de telle sorte qu'un capteur soit enfermé dans un environnement contrôlé et que le capteur soit capable de mesurer de manière précise et fiable le paramètre de qualité tandis que le dispositif de récolte fonctionne. Le système comprend un dispositif de vérification et un dispositif d'actionnement contenus dans l'environnement contrôlé. Le dispositif d'actionnement transporte périodiquement le dispositif de détection dans au moins une position parmi une position de vérification par rapport au dispositif de vérification et une position de mesure. Ainsi, le dispositif de détection peut être référencé et/ou validé de manière périodique et fiable tout en étant utilisé dans des environnements agricoles difficiles, de manière à pouvoir mesurer de manière précise le paramètre de qualité pendant la récolte de la culture.
