A system and method is disclosed for a remote multi-purpose user interface for medical devices and systems within a healthcare / medication delivery system and/or medication information technology system. The multi-purpose user interface has a housing, a processor, a memory, a communications interface for providing communication between the user interface and a medical device / controller and for providing communications between the user interface and a first central computer, and a display for displaying a medical prompt and for displaying medical information received from the first central computer. A system and method is also disclosed for medical data tracking, analyzing and reporting within a healthcare system. The system can further integrate vital signs and infusion pump monitoring and reporting, and allow for enhanced provision of medical care through interface screens which combine this functionality. The system can also provide for control from a central interface screen utilizing this integrated functionality.
La présente invention a trait à un système et un procédé pour une interface d'utilisateur multifonctions à distance pour des dispositifs et systèmes médicaux dans un système de distribution de soins de santé/médicaments et/ou un système de technologie d'information sur des médicaments. L'interface d'utilisateur multifonctions comporte un boîtier, un processeur, une mémoire, une interface de communications pour assurer la communication entre l'interface d'utilisateur et un premier ordinateur central, et un écran pour l'affichage d'un guide-opérateur médical et pour l'affichage d'une information médicale reçue provenant du premier ordinateur central. L'invention a également trait à un système et un procédé pour le repérage, l'analyse et le rapport de données médicales dans un système de soins de santé. Le système peut également incorporer le suivi et le rapport de signes vitaux et de pompe à perfusion, et assurer une prestation améliorée de soin médical à travers des écrans d'interface qui combinent cette fonctionnalité. Le système peut également assurer le contrôle à partir d'un écran d'interface central utilisant cette fonctionnalité intégrée.
