A system and method for monitoring a pressure reduction device are provided. The system includes a release sensor that provides an indication when the pressure reduction device activates. A wireless transmitter is connected to the release sensor and sends a wireless transmission having an activation signal when the indication is provided by the release sensor. A receiver receives the wireless transmission from the transmitter and generates a warning when the activation signal is identified.

L'invention concerne un système et un procédé de surveillance d'un dispositif de réduction de pression. Le système comprend un capteur de déclenchement qui signale la mise en marche du dispositif de réduction de pression. Un émetteur sans fil est connecté au capteur de déclenchement et envoie une transmission sans fil comportant un signal d'activation lorsque l'indication est donnée par le capteur de déclenchement. Un récepteur reçoit de l'émetteur la transmission sans fil et émet un signal d'avertissement lorsque le signal d'activation est identifié.
