The invention relates to a system and a method for monitoring connection- related communication data which is detected by a network node, especially by a switching network node of a telecommunication network and which is used to calculate charges. In order to determine in a precise manner the beginning, the end, and/or the duration of a communication connection and/or special features requested during a connection, suitable measure points (30, 40) of a call simulator (60) are initially sought outside of the network node (20) enabling the beginning and the end of a communication connection to be detected. Systematic measuring error occurring when a predetermined event (beginning or end of the connection) is measured between the point (28, 29) of the actual event and the measuring points(s) (30, 40) is then determined. The systematic measuring error is taken into account for the correction of time- relevant data determined in the call simulator (60).
L'invention concerne un système et un procédé de contrôle des données de communication relatives aux connexions, détectées par un noeud réseau, en particulier par un noeud réseau de commutation d'un réseau de télécommunication, employées pour la facturation de frais. L'invention vise à déterminer précisément le début, la fin et/ou la durée d'une connexion de communication et des caractéristiques de service demandées lors d'une connexion. A cet effet, des points de mesure adéquats (30, 40) d'un simulateur d'appel (60) sont recherchés en dehors du noeud réseau (20), le début et la fin d'une connexion de communication pouvant être déterminés sur lesdits points de mesure. Par ailleurs, l'erreur de mesure systématique survenant lors de la mesure d'un événement prédéfini (début ou fin de connexion) entre la position de l'événement et le ou les points de mesure (30, 40), est déterminée. L'erreur de mesure systématique est ensuite prise en compte pour la correction des données de temps déterminées dans le simulateur d'appel (60).
