A system and method of use for determining a desired physical parameter relating to a load deployed by a movable vessel, in a predetermined plane, using a sensor disposed proximate the load underwater where the sensor produces a transmittable signal indicative of the desired physical parameter and communicates the signal, via a communication link, to a receiver that receives and indicated the pressure signal. A deployment frame may be used to further support the load. Once deployed, the load encounters water having changes in the detected physical parameter and the sensor sends a signal indicative of the changes such as to a controller or computer located on a movable vessel. These signals can be used to determine movement and positioning of the load, e.g. when positioning the load proximate an underwater structure. It is emphasized that this abstract is provided to comply with the rules requiring an abstract which will allow a searcher or other reader to quickly ascertain the subject matter of the technical disclosure. It is submitted with the understanding that it will not be used to interpret or limit the scope of meaning of the claims.
L'invention concerne un système et son procédé d'utilisation pour déterminer un paramètre physique désiré associé à une charge déployée par un récipient amovible, dans un plan prédéterminé, à l'aide d'un capteur disposé près de la charge sous-marine, le capteur générant un signal pouvant être transmis et indiquant le paramètre physique désiré, et communiquant le signal via une liaison de communication à un récepteur recevant et indiquant le signal de pression. Une structure de déploiement peut être utilisée pour servir également de support à la charge. Une fois déployée, la charge vient en contact avec de l'eau dont le paramètre physique détecté est modifié, et le capteur envoie un signal indiquant ces changements, par exemple à une unité de commande ou à un ordinateur situés sur un récipient amovible. Ces signaux peuvent être utilisés pour déterminer le mouvement et le positionnement de la charge, par exemple lors du positionnement de la charge près d'une structure sous-marine.
