Line interface (60) for coupling a twisted pair telephone line (12) with a communication network. The line interface includes a broadband analog front end (62) for coupling the twisted pair telephone line with the line interface, and a programmable filter (66) for filtering frequency bands to separate transmission channels (68), the transmission channels located in the communication network, wherein the frequency bands are determined by the programmable filter. In this manner, various services can be provided over the twisted pair telephone line.
L'invention concerne une interface de ligne (60) destinée à coupler une ligne téléphonique à paires torsadées (12) avec une réseau de communication. L'interface de ligne comporte un préamplificateur analogique à bande large (62) destiné à coupler la ligne téléphonique à paires torsadées avec l'interface de ligne, et un filtre programmable (66) destiné à filtrer des bandes de fréquence afin de séparer des canaux de transmission (68), c.-à-d. les canaux de transmission situés dans le réseau de communication, les bandes de fréquence étant déterminées par le filtre programmable. De cette manière, différents services peuvent être fournis par l'intermédiaire de la ligne téléphonique à paires torsadées.
