A two-way satellite communication system is disclosed. A transceiver (109) transmits signals over a return channel to a satellite (107) and receives signals over a downlink channel from the satellite (107). A hub (113) communicates with the transceiver (109) over the return channel, wherein the hub (113) provides connectivity between the transceiver (109) and a packet switched network (105).
