A system and a method are provided for receiving analog and digital audio input via a single audio input connector. The method includes receiving an input signal from a single audio input connector, splitting the received input signal into a first input signal and a second input signal, filtering the first input signal to pass a digital signal, filtering the second input signal to pass an analog signal, digitizing the filtered analog signal, and multiplexing the filtered digital signal and the filtered digitized analog signal.

L'invention concerne un système et un procédé permettant de recevoir des entrées audio analogiques et numériques par l'intermédiaire d'un connecteur d'entrée audio unique. Le procédé selon l'invention consiste : à recevoir un signal d'entrée provenant d'un connecteur d'entrée audio unique; à séparer le signal d'entrée reçu en un premier et un deuxième signal d'entrée; à filtrer le premier signal d'entrée pour transmettre un signal numérique; à filtrer le deuxième signal d'entrée pour transmettre un signal analogique; à numériser le signal analogique filtré; et à multiplexer le signal numérique filtré et le signal analogique numérisé filtré.
