A system and method for determining the reliability of at least one communication link between nodes in an ad-hoc communication network. The system and method perform the operations of receiving at a first node data sent by a second node over a link from the second node to the first node (1000), determining a bit error rate (BER) at which the first node received the data (1020), and identifying the link from the second node to the first node as being reliable when a value determined based on at least the BER and, more specifically, an aggregate of the BER and BERs of data received by the first node from the second node over a period of time, meets a desired condition (1030, 1060, 1070, 1080). The data sent by the second node can include routing advertisement data indicating at least one node which is a neighboring node of the second node, or can be any suitable regularly expected message.
L'invention concerne un système et un procédé destinés à déterminer la fiabilité d'au moins une liaison de communication entre des noeuds dans un réseau de communication ad hoc. Ce système et ce procédé permettent de recevoir, au niveau d'un premier noeud, des données envoyées par un second noeud sur une liaison entre le second noeud et le premier noeud (1000), de déterminer un taux d'erreur sur les bits (TEB) auquel le premier noeud a reçu les données (1020), et d'identifier la liaison entre le second noeud et le premier noeud comme fiable lorsqu'une valeur déterminée sur la base d'au moins ce TEB, et plus particulièrement d'un agrégat de ce TEB et des TEB de données reçues par le premier noeud en provenance du second noeud pendant une durée déterminée, satisfait une condition requise (1030, 1060, 1070, 1080). Les données envoyées par le second noeud peuvent comprendre des données d'annonce de routage indiquant au moins un noeud voisin du second noeud, ou peuvent être un message approprié quelconque régulièrement attendu.
