Devices and methods are provided for electrically stimulating a predetermined body part of a mammal. The method includes placing at least one electrode in proximity to the mammal's skin, injecting an electrically conductive gel into the body of the mammal so as to form a conductive gel pathway extending at least partially along a distance between the at least one electrode and the predetermined body part, and stimulating the predetermined body part by applying an electrical signal via the electrode that travels, at least in part, through the conductive gel pathway.
La présente invention concerne des dispositifs et des procédés permettant de stimuler électriquement une partir définie du corps d'un mammifère. Le procédé consiste à placer au moins une électrode à proximité de la peau du mammifère, à injecter un gel électro-conducteur dans le corps du mammifère de façon à former un chemin de gel conducteur se présentant sur une partie au moins de la distance entre l'électrode considérée et la partie du corps considérée, et à stimuler la partie du corps considérée par application d'un signal électrique via l'électrode qui passe, au moins en partie par le chemin de gel conducteur.
