The present invention discloses a system and method for sensing the dryness of clothing articles in a clothes dryer. In one embodiment, there is provided a clothes dryer that uses a temperature sensor and a phase angle sensor to determine the dryness of the clothing articles as a function of the heated air temperature and the motor phase angle. In another embodiment of this invention there is provided a clothes dryer that uses a humidity sensor to determine the dryness of the clothing articles as a function of the humidity of the heated air temperature. In a third embodiment of this invention there is provided a clothes dryer that uses a temperature sensor, a phase angle sensor, and a humidity sensor to determine the dryness of the clothing articles as a function of the heated air temperature, the motor phase angle, and the humidity of the heated air temperature.
L'invention porte sur un système et une méthode de détection de l'assèchement des vêtements placés dans une sécheuse. Dans une configuration, une sécheuse comporte un détecteur de température et un détecteur d'angle de phase permettant de déterminer l'assèchement des vêtements. Ces détecteurs sont fonction de la température de l'air chaud et de l'angle de phase du moteur. Dans une seconde configuration, une sécheuse comprend un détecteur d'humidité permettant de déterminer l'assèchement des vêtements. Ce détecteur est fonction de l'humidité de la température de l'air chaud. Dans une troisième configuration, une sécheuse utilise un détecteur de température, un détecteur d'angle de phase et un détecteur d'humidité pour déterminer l'assèchement des vêtements. Ces détecteurs sont fonction de la température de l'air chaud, de l'angle de phase du moteur et de l'humidité de l'air chaud.
