A system includes at least one body, a link for suspending the body for movement with gravity from a first elevation position to a sec-ond elevation position, and an electrical energy generator coupled with the body through the link to drive the generator to generate electricity upon movement of the body with gravity from the first to the second elevation position. The at least one body has a mass of at least approximately 100 tonnes; the first and the second elevation positions define a distance there-between of at least approximately 200 meters; and/or the system further in-cludes an operator configured to operate the link to controllably move the at least one body against gravity from the second to the first elevation posi-tion to increase a gravitational potential energy of the at least one body, and to maintain the gravitational potential energy of the at least one body.
La présente invention concerne un système qui comprend au moins un corps, une liaison permettant de suspendre le corps pour quil se déplace sous leffet de la gravité, dune première position délévation vers une seconde position délévation, et un générateur dénergie électrique couplé au corps par lintermédiaire de la liaison pour amener le générateur à générer de lélectricité lors du déplacement du corps sous leffet de la gravité, de la première à la seconde position délévation. Le ou les corps présentent une masse d'au moins environ 100 tonnes. Les première et seconde positions d'élévation définissent une distance entre elles dau moins approximativement 200 mètres et/ou le système comprend en outre un opérateur conçu pour faire fonctionner la liaison afin de déplacer de manière contrôlable le ou les corps à lencontre de la gravité, de la seconde position délévation à la première position délévation, pour augmenter une énergie potentielle gravitationnelle du ou des corps et pour conserver lénergie potentielle gravitationnelle du ou des corps.
