The invention relates to a system for submerging a hydraulic turbine engine (40), including an assembly including: an elongate transverse flow turbine engine (41); a carriage (43) for receiving said assembly in a prone position; a ship (44) provided with a winch (45) for supporting the carriage on the deck thereof, the bottom side of the turbine engine facing the stern of the ship, the top side being tied to the winch by a pull line (46); and jacks for righting the carriage and said assembly to a position that is vertically perpendicular to the stern.
L'invention concerne un système d'immersion d'une turbomachine hydraulique (40) comprenant un ensemble comprenant une turbomachine à flux transverse de forme allongée (41); un chariot (43) adapté à recevoir ledit ensemble en position couchée; un navire (44) muni d'un treuil (45) adapté à porter le chariot sur son pont, le côté inférieur de la turbomachine étant tourné vers la poupe du navire, le côté supérieur étant lié par une ligne de traction (46) au treuil; et des vérins pour dresser le chariot et ledit ensemble à l'aplomb de la poupe.
