A system for performing dimension checkings of mechanical pieces includes a contact detecting probe (4) with wireless transmission, for example by means of a single radiofrequency two-way communication link (14), with respect to a base station (10) connected to an interface unit (11). The probe includes a logic unit (36) and a memory unit (38) in which there reside the values of some operation parameters, for example the transmission frequency and/or the activation mode of the probe. The values of the operation parameters can be modified in a programming phase, according to a method that foresees the wireless transmission of control signals from a manually operated control device - carried out, for example, in the interface unit - to the probe, for giving the updating of the values among the selectable values of a sequence residing in the probe, and the acquisition of the current value. The generation of the former control signals is activated by manually operating keys of the interface unit on the basis of information - regarding the parameter under consideration and its associated current value - observable on a display, for example in the interface unit, information visualized on the basis of signals transmitted from the probe.
L'invention concerne un système pour vérifier des dimensions de pièces mécaniques comprenant une sonde de détection de contact (4) à transmission sans fil, par exemple, au moyen d'une liaison de communications (14) bidirectionnelle à radiofréquence simple, par rapport à une station de base (10) reliée à une unité d'interface (11). Ladite sonde comprend une unité logique (36) et une unité mémoire (38), dans laquelle se trouvent les valeurs de certains paramètres de fonctionnement, par exemple, la fréquence de transmission et/ou le mode d'activation de la sonde. Les valeurs des paramètres de fonctionnement peuvent être modifiés lors de la phase de programmation, selon un procédé qui prévoit la transmission sans fil de signaux de commande provenant d'un dispositif de commande fonctionnant de manière manuelle, effectuée, par exemple, dans l'unité d'interface, vers la sonde, ce qui permet de mettre à jour des valeurs parmi les valeurs pouvant être sélectionnées à partir d'une séquence située dans la sonde, ainsi que l'acquisition de la valeur réelle. La production des signaux de commande précédents est activée par des clés manuelles de l'unité d'interface sur la base d'informations, en tenant compte du paramètre et de sa valeur réelle associée, observable sur un dispositif d'affichage, par exemple dans l'unité d'interface, lesdites informations étant visualisées sur la base de signaux transmis à partir de la sonde.
