A system and method are provided to intelligently limit the frequency at which automated or semi-automated trading tools move or re-price orders in an exchange order book. A tolerance may be input that limits when one or more orders in the exchange order book are moved from one price to another. The system and method assist in reducing the number of orders that are entered into the system which can lead to reduced exchange transaction fees, lost queue position, and reduce network bandwidth consumption.

L'invention concerne un système et un procédé permettant de limiter intelligemment la fréquence, à laquelle des outils de commerce automatisés ou semi-automatisés déplacent ou chiffrent à nouveau des commandes dans un journal de commandes par échange. Un seuil de tolérance peut être entré, il permet de fixer une limite, lorsqu'au moins une commande dudit journal passe d'un prix à un autre. Ce système et ce procédé permettent d'aider la diminution du nombre de commandes qui sont entrées dans le système, ce qui peut déboucher sur une baisse des frais de transactions d'échanges, une position de file d'attente perdue et la diminution de la consommation de largeurs de bande de réseau.
