A pacing protocol is provided that reduces or minimizes ventricular pacing in favor of intrinsic conduction. When operating in a mode that provides ventricular pacing, a series of conduction checks are performed to determine if intrinsic conduction has returned. These conduction checks occur according to a predetermined pattern that general includes longer intervals between subsequent attempts. A maximum interval is provided such that conduction checks are not repeated sequentially at the same time of day when at this maximum interval.
L'invention concerne un protocole de stimulation qui réduit ou minimise la stimulation ventriculaire en faveur de la conduction intrinsèque. Lors du fonctionnement dans un mode procurant une stimulation ventriculaire, une série de vérifications de conduction est effectuée pour déterminer si la conduction intrinsèque est rétablie. Ces vérifications de conduction ont lieu d'après un modèle prédéterminé comprenant généralement de plus longs intervalles entre des tentatives consécutives. Un intervalle maximum est fourni de sorte que des vérifications de conduction ne soient pas répétées de façon séquentielle au même moment de la journée en présence de cet intervalle maximum.
