A system and method for verifying digital postal marks and for verifying a mark on any document where the mark represents value and can be counterfeited, the system including a plurality of mail processing machine verification modules (MPMVMs), each responsive to information obtained from mailpieces, from an assigned control file specifying patterns of sampling and responses to sampling results and performing actions as specified from a data center verification module (DCVM), the actions consisting of cataloging and sending verification results, receiving updated configuration and suspect operational files and incorporating in to actions-to-be-taken operating program.
L'invention concerne un système et un procédé de vérification de marques postales numériques et d'une marque sur tout document, celle-ci représentant une valeur et pouvant être contrefaite. Ledit système comprend plusieurs modules de vérification de machine de traitement de courrier, chacun d'eux étant sensible à une information obtenue à partir de pièces de courrier, provenant d'un fichier de commande assigné qui spécifie des modèles d'échantillonnage et des réponses aux résultats d'échantillonnage et qui réalise des actions spécifiées à partir d'un module de vérification centrale de données. Les actions consistent à cataloguer et à envoyer des résultats de vérification, à recevoir une configuration mise à jour et des fichiers opérationnels suspects et à les incorporer dans un programme d'exploitation d'actions à entreprendre.
