A system and method for wideband pre-detection signal processing for PCL applications is disclosed. The method includes receiving an input signal, implementing a transformation operation on the input signal, compensating the input signal for channel distortion, demodulating and forming complex-valued representations of the compensated input signal, estimating a reference signal and a target signal from the demodulated input signal, reducing a portion of the reference signal in the target signal, wherein the reference signal is adaptively filtered with respect to the target signal and combined with the target signal to form an output target signal, implementing an inverse transformation operation on the output target signal and the reference signal, forming a plurality of target beams for the output target signal, forming a plurality of decimated lag products for each of the plurality of target beams, forming a plurality of decimated lag products for the reference signal, estimating a cross ambiguity function for the each of plurality of target beams, and estimating an auto ambiguity function for the reference signal using the plurality of decimated lag products for the reference signal.
L'invention concerne un système et un procédé pour le traitement de signaux par prédétection en large bande, dans les applications du type à emplacement passif cohérent. Le procédé consiste à recevoir un signal d'entrée, appliquer une opération de transformation au signal d'entrée, compenser le signal d'entrée par rapport à la distorsion de canal, démoduler le signal d'entrée compensé et former des représentations correspondantes à valeur complexe, estimer un signal de référence et un signal cible à partir du signal d'entrée démodulé, réduire une partie du signal de référence dans le signal cible (filtrage adaptatif du signal de référence par rapport au signal cible et combinaison du signal de référence filtré avec le signal cible pour former un signal cible de sortie), application d'une opération de transformation inverse au signal de sortie cible et au signal de référence, constitution de plusieurs faisceaux cibles pour le signal cible de sortie, décimation de plusieurs produits retardés pour chaque faisceau cible, décimation de plusieurs produits retardés pour le signal de référence, estimation d'une fonction d'ambiguïté croisée pour chaque faisceau, sur la base des produits retardés soumis à la décimation qui correspondent aux différents faisceaux cibles, et estimation d'une fonction d'auto-ambiguïté pour le signal de référence, sur la base de la décimation des produits retardés établis pour le signal de référence.
