System and method of communicating a plurality of food orders in a restaurant from a plurality of portable ordering devices to a food preparation area. Handwritten indicia representative at least an aspect of one of the plurality of food orders is created on one of the plurality of ordering devices. The indicia is communicated wirelessly from the one of the plurality of portable ordering devices for display in the food preparation area. Completion of the one of the plurality of orders can, optionally, be wirelessly communicated to the one of the plurality of portable ordering devices.
L'invention concerne un système et un procédé de communication d'une pluralité de plats dans un restaurant à partir d'une pluralité de dispositifs de commande portables vers une zone de préparation de plats. Des indices écrits à la main représentant au moins un aspect parmi la pluralité des commandes de plats sont écrits sur un des différents dispositifs de commande. Ces indices sont communiqués sans fil à partir d'un des multiples dispositifs de commande portables afin d'être affichés dans la zone de préparation de plats. La fin d'une des commandes peut, facultativement, être communiquée sans fil à un des différents dispositifs de commande portables.
