Interconnections are managed in a mobile communications network (Fig. 3A) having at least one mobile switching center (MSC) and at least one base station subsystem (BS), wherein the MSC and BS each communicate signaling messages according to a mobile signaling protocol. A first connection is provided between a first device (5114) and a second device (5120) in the network and a second connection is provided between the first device and a third device (5124) in the network. A third connection is established between the second device and the third device in the network. A first mechanism is provided that is responsive to a condition existing in the network that affects the operation of a device in the network. A second mechanism is provided that is responsive to the first mechanism and operative to electrically isolate the device from the network.

Selon la présente invention, des interconnexions sont gérées dans un réseau de communications mobiles (figure 3A) pourvu d'au moins un centre de commutation mobile (MSC) et d'au moins un sous-système de station de base (BS), ledit centre et ledit sous-système communiquant respectivement des messages de signalisation, selon un protocole de signalisation mobile. Une première connexion est établie entre un premier dispositif (5114) et un second dispositif (5120) dans ledit réseau et une seconde connexion est établie entre le premier dispositif et un troisième dispositif (5124) dans ledit réseau. Une troisième connexion est établie entre le second dispositif et le troisième dispositif dans ce réseau. Un premier mécanisme est sensible à une condition existant dans le réseau qui modifie le fonctionnement d'un dispositif du réseau. Un second mécanisme est sensible au premier mécanisme et fonctionne pour isoler électriquement le dispositif dudit réseau.
