A system, method and node for modulation and coding scheme adjustment for a Long Term Evolution (LTE) shared Data Channel. The method determines an ac-tual number of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols, Nos utilized for the shared Data Chan-nel. A modulation order for transmission of data on the shared Data Channel is increased when the actual number of OFDM symbols Nos is less than 11 and decreased when Nos is more than 11. A modulation and coding scheme field (Mcs ) of a downlink control information of the shared Data Channel may also be determined. If o<= I MCS +11- Nos <= 28, the modulation order is modified by utilizing a factor of (I MCS + 11 - Nos ) in a standardized modulation scheme. If it is determined that I MCs + 11 - Nos < o, the modulation order is set to Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK). If it is determined that I MCS + 11 - Nos > 28, the modulation or-der is set to 64 Quadtrative Amplitude Modulation (64QAM).
L'invention porte sur un système, un procédé et un nud destinés à ajuster le schéma de modulation et de codage dun canal de données partagé d'accès par paquet OFDM haut débit (LTE). Le procédé consiste à déterminer un nombre réel de symboles de multiplexage par répartition orthogonale de la fréquence (OFDM), NOS, utilisé pour le canal de données partagé. Lordre de modulation pour transmission de données sur le canal de données partagé est augmenté lorsque le nombre réel de symboles OFDM NOS est inférieur à 11 et diminué lorsque NOS est supérieur à 11. Un champ de schéma de modulation et de codage (IMCS) d'informations de commande de liaison descendante du canal de données partagé peut également être déterminé. Si 0 = IMCS + 11 - NOS = 28, l'ordre de modulation est modifié par un facteur de (IMCS + 11 - NOS) dans un schéma de modulation standardisé.
