Method of forming a composite web structure (10a). A topsheet assembly (16) is formed by applying two webs of elastic material (40) onto two webs of topsheet material (16b) and folding each of the subsequent webs (134) about the elastic material (40) to create an assembly having elasticized leg cuffs (38). A first and second web of polymeric liner material (38a) are applied to first and second webs of the topsheet material (16b) adjacent to the elastic material (40) and folded to form a leg cuff (38). The topsheet assembly (10) is applied on a core assembly (100a) to create a first web structure assembly. A backsheet assembly (50) is formed including a backsheet material (18) and is applied on the first web structure assembly to form a second web structure assembly. The second web structure assembly is cut to form a composite web structure (10a) finishable to form a disposable absorbent garment (10).
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de fabriquer une structure de bande composite (10a). Pour former un ensemble couche supérieure (16), on applique deux bandes de matériau élastique (40) sur deux bandes de matériau de couche supérieure (16b) et on plie chacune des bandes ainsi obtenues (134) autour du matériau élastique (40) afin de former un ensemble pourvu de revers de jambe élastiques (38). On applique une première bande et une seconde bande de matériau de doublure polymère (38a) sur la première et à la seconde bandes du matériau de couche supérieure (16b) adjacentes au matériau élastique (40), puis on les plie de manière à former un revers de jambe (38). On applique l'ensemble couche supérieure (10) sur un ensemble central (100a) afin de former un premier ensemble structure de bande. On forme un ensemble couche inférieure (50) comprenant un matériau de couche inférieure (18) que l'on applique sur le premier ensemble de structure de bande afin de former un second ensemble de structure de bande. On découpe ensuite ce second ensemble de structure de bande afin de former une structure de bande composite (10a) pouvant constituer un produit fini servant à former un vêtement absorbant jetable (10).
