ABSTRACT A system for accessing memory modules (47'-0 ~ 47'-31) by using an effective address composed of two or more parts, one of which is determined later than the others, comprising: a first means (41-1) for storing one part of a current effective address; a second means (41-2) for storing the other part of the current effective address, a third means (41-3) for storing one part of a previous effective address, and; means (48) for comparing the content of the first means with that of the third means. In this sytem, before the entire current effective address is determined, the actual access for the memory modules is executed.
