An apparatus (10) for fixating and elevating an interconnected rebar lattice having individual longitudinal and transverse rebar intersections for use as support for poured concrete in highway and other construction. The apparatus including a holding portion (12) having an open ended recess (16) with two opposing walls being generally U-shaped. The recess has a longitudinal axis and is sized and shaped to receive a longitudinal rod. An arc-shaped portion (20) extends laterally outward from each opposing wall and perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the recess. The arc-shaped portion (20) has a transverse axis and is sized and shaped to receive a longitudinal rod. The arc- shaped portion (20) includes a recess (22) and opposing walls with each wall including a snap-type lock (26). A locking member (28) has a generally arc- shaped portion (32) and includes a snap-type lock (30) for attaching to the arc-shaped portions (20) and engaging with the snap-type lock (26) of the arc- shaped portions (20). A leg portion (34) extends downwardly from the holding portion (12) and is integrally attached to a base (40).

Cette invention concerne un appareil (10) conçu pour fixer et surélever un treillis de barres d'armature interconnectées comportant des intersections de barres d'armature longitudinales et transversales en vue de l'utilisation en tant que support de béton coulé destiné aux routes et autres constructions analogues. Ledit appareil possède une partie destinée au bridage (12) comportant un évidement (16) à extrémité ouverte muni de deux parois en opposition se présentant généralement sous la forme d'un U. Ledit évidement a un axe longitudinal et il est de taille et de forme lui permettant de recevoir une tige longitudinale. Une partie en forme d'arc (20) fait saillie latéralement à partir de chacune des parois en opposition et est disposée perpendiculairement à l'axe longitudinal de l'évidement. Ladite partie en forme d'arc (20) possède un évidement (22) et des parois en opposition pourvues chacune d'un organe de verrouillage encliquetable (26). Un élément de blocage (28) possède une partie ayant généralement une forme arquée (32) et comporte un organe de verrouillage encliquetable (30) conçu pour être fixé aux parties en forme d'arc (20) précitées et pour s'accoupler à l'organe de verrouillage encliquetable (26) desdites parties en forme d'arc (20). Un pied (34) fait saillie vers le bas à partir de la partie destinée au bridage (12) et est intégralement fixé à une base (40).
