-A control system (1) that includes an actuation section (14) that moves lift-enhancing devices (12, 13), a control member (16), and a control unit (17) that includes a control section (18) that produces control orders, as a function of actuation of the control member (16), so as to control the actuation section (14); a control unit (19) that produces automatically auxiliary control orders which are transmitted to the actuation section (14 )to automatically retract the lift-enhancing devices (12, 13) when the aircraft (2) is in a first flight condition and another device (20) that automatically disables control orders (18) to deploy the lift-enhancing devices (12, 13) when the aircraft (2) is in a second flight condition.
