Methods and systems of enforcing a demand reset in a meter (114a) that communicates via a wireless network. When billing data is received by a server (206), it is accompanied by a demand reset counter. The counter is compared to a counter stored on the server (206). If they received counter is less than the server counter, it is determined that the meter (114a) missed a demand reset. The server (202) then instructs the meter (114a) to perform a demand reset to ensure that accurate demand data is recived by the server (206).
La présente invention a trait à des procédés et des systèmes pour la mise en oeuvre d'une remise à zéro de la demande dans un compteur qui communique à travers un réseau sans fil. Lors de la réception de la donnée de facturation par un serveur, celle-ci est accompagnée d'un dispositif de comptage de remise à zéro de la demande. Le dispositif de comptage est comparé à un dispositif de comptage stocké sur le serveur. Si le dispositif de comptage reçu est inférieur au dispositif de comptage de serveur, il est déterminé que le compteur a raté une remise à zéro de la demande. Le serveur commande alors au compteur d'effectuer une lecture de facturation et de réaliser une remise à zéro de la demande pour assurer la réception de demande précise par le serveur.
