ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE System for immediately checking the authenticity of identification papers. First, the image typical parameters are determined and stored of the image of a person to be identified, as reproduced or applied on the identification paper; then, the paper authenticity is checked in a suitable apparatus redetermining the image typical parameters and comparing such redetermined parameters with the previously stored ones, supplying at comparison completion a signal of positive or negative check.
