The invention is a system for choreographing the execution of a procedure via a series of procedural steps. The system includes a relational database application running on a computer. The database includes a resource table listing a plurality of procedures as a plurality of procedure records, each procedure record listing the resources and attributes required to execute the listed procedure. The database also includes at least one environmental component table listing a plurality of environmental component values of which one value is selected and which may be performed as part of the procedure, the plurality of environmental component values being listed as a plurality of environmental component records, each environmental component record including the characteristics of the listed environmental component. The database further includes an activity table linked to the resource table and the environmental component table, the activity table configured to generate a unique identifier when a procedure and environmental component value are selected from the resource and environment tables, respectively. The database further includes a choreography table linked to the activity table, the choreography table listing a plurality of choreography records, each choreography record corresponding to a unique selection from the environment component table and the resource table, each said choreography record listing in sequence order the procedural steps required to perform the selected procedure with the selected environmental component value. Finally, the database includes a report generator configured to generate a report listing the selected procedure and environmental component value together with the resulting procedural steps.
