ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A system for controlling electroslag remelting which comprises a recorder of arc discharges having an input connected to a current-carrying busbar of a crystallization mould. The arc discharge recorder also has an output con- nected to a first input of a device for varying a rate of feed of a remelting electrode. The rate varying device further comprises a second input connected to an electrode feed rate presetting device, and an output connected via a speed regulator to a mechanism for actuating the remelting electrode. The current-carrying busbar is connected to a valve effect recorder having an output connected via a regime varying device to a third input of the electrode feed rate varying device.
