A system for detecting and locating leaks in vertical water supply pipes in a building. The system consists of a leak water retaining device (4) combined with two separate electrodes (6, 7). The water establishes contact between the two electrodes connected to a central unit that actuates a solenoid valve. The leak water recovered in a container (1) is discharged into the waste water down-pipe (10). If the down-pipe is blocked, the device uses the resulting backflow to trigger the closure of the collective solenoid valve. Said system is particularly suitable for preventing water damage resulting from a riser leak or congestion in a waste water down-pipe.

L'invention concerne un système pour détecter et localiser les fuites sur les conduites de distribution d'eau verticales dans un immeuble. Il est constitué d'un dispositif de rétention d'eau issue de la fuite (4), associé à deux électrodes disjointes (6 et 7). L'eau établit le contact entre les deux électrodes reliées à une centrale qui actionne une électrovanne. L'eau issue de la fuite récupérée dans le réceptacle (1) est évacuée dans la descente des eaux usées (10). Si cette descente est obstruée, ce dispositif exploite ce reflux pour déclencher la fermeture de l'électrovanne collective.
