It describes a system for drying wood similar to a conventional dryer to which is added a heat recovery system that is built in to the air exhaust/intake, to recover a portion of heat exhausted from the dryer to preheat the supply air to a temperature near the wet temperature at the dryer exhaust. The heat recovery system allows the creation of a microclimate which increases the drying speed by encouraging integration of intake air to recirculating air in the kiln and the stable climate conditions that maintain the hydric flux of the water vapor between the wood and the air that circulates around the planks. To optimize the thermal performance of the energy recovery system, it is manufactured to allow supply air to counterflow the warm, moist air be exhausted from the kiln. In addition, in order to increase the uniformity of integration of the preheated supply air, it is injected into the recirculating air through penetration holes.
Il est décrit un système de séchage pour bois semblable à un séchoir conventionnel auquel est ajouté un récupérateur de chaleur, intégré au système d'évacuation/admission d'air, pour récupérer une partie de la chaleur évacuée du séchoir pour préchauffer l'air d'apport jusqu'à une température près de la température humide à la sortie du séchoir. Le récupérateur de chaleur permet la création d'un micro climat qui augmente la vitesse de séchage en favorisant l'intégration de l'air d'apport à l'air de recirculation dans le séchoir et la stabilité des conditions climatiques qui maintient le flux hydrique de la vapeur d'eau entre le bois et l'air qui circule le long des planches. Afin d'optimiser les performances thermiques du récupérateur d'énergie, ce dernier est fabriqué de manière à permettre un écoulement de l'air d'apport à contre sens de l'air chaud et humide sortant su séchoir. De plus, afin d'augmenter l'uniformisation de l'intégration de l'air d'apport préchauffé, celle-ci est injectée dans l'air de recirculation via des orifices de pénétration.
