ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Prewired lighting fixtures and prewired tap boxes each having an input and output receptacle are electrically inter- connected by flexible connecting cables having a plug-in con- nector at each end. The tap boxes have additional output recep- tacles for connection of branch circuits and some have output receptacles for connection of plug-in switch drop cables. Three wires, one of which is common, extend throughout the system and provide alternate 2 wire circuits to facilitate selective switch- ing, reduction in voltage drop and economy of material.
