A system for extending or retracting two rotationally interconnected members and locking or releasing the members in the extended position. The system comprises a locking cam (4) on a shaft (5) combined with the first member (2) and connected to a drive means (9), said cam being engageable with a bearing surface (8) on the second member. Said drive means (9) is preferably a power drive rotating the two members about their pivot axis and including a motor (9A) with a rotational axis (17) parallel to the rotational axes (10, 11) of the cam and said shaft, said axis coinciding with the pivot axis of the two members; a transmission (18) linking the motor to the shaft; and a radial linkage (19) rotating with said motor and capable of rotating said second member about said pivot axis.
L'invention concerne un système pour déployer ou replier deux éléments liés en rotation et pour verrouiller ou déverrouiller lesdits éléments en position déployée. Le système est du type à came de verrouillage qui est montée sur un arbre associé au premier élément et relié à des moyens d'entraînement, et qui est susceptible de s'appliquer contre une face d'appui prévue sur le second élément. Avantageusement, lesdits moyens d'entraînement sont motorisés, entraînent la rotation des deux éléments autour de leur axe d'articulation, et comprennent: un moteur, dont l'axe de rotation est parallèle aux axes de rotation de la came et dudit arbre, et correspond à l'axe d'articulation des deux éléments; une transmission reliant ledit moteur audit arbre; et une liaison radiale, solidaire en rotation dudit moteur et susceptible d'entraîner en rotation ledit second élément autour dudit axe d'articulation.
