The present invention relates to a system for mounting a rail (2) on a base (3) having a base plate (4) having at least one connector (39,40,43,44), a clamping element (20,21), and wherein a spring element (45,46) is provided that can be clamped against the base plate (4) using the clamping element (20,21). The system according to the invention provides a mounting system, using simple means, that allows mounting of rails sufficiently to meet modern requirements at low production cost and simple assembly.
