ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A system for heating and cooling liquids. The system utilizes interrelated components of refrigeration such as a compressor, a condenser coil, an evaporator coil, a refrigerant, and expansion valve, together with two liquid sources. Liquid is pumped in heat-exchange fashion through segregated condenser and evaporator coils simultaneously with, and in the opposite direction to, that of the refrigerant. The path of the liquid may be altered to produce either heating or cooling. Furthermore the path of a first and a second liquid flow may be altered in segregated heat-exchange fashion through the condenser and evaporator coils, whereby heating or cooling of either liquid source 30 or 42 may be easily selected and controlled.
