A system for jointing panels to form a sheet for the roofing or cladding of buildings. This system simultaneously provides a means for ventilating the building and prevents weather damage of the sheet. A joint is formed by the cooperation of a cap (9) which fits over adjacent panels (2, 3) and a clip (8) which holds the cap in place.

Cette invention concerne un système d'assemblage de panneaux permettant de constituer des tôles destinées à la couverture ou au bardage d'édifices. Ce système permet de disposer d'un organe de ventilation de l'édifice et de protéger, simultanément, la tôle des intempéries. On constitue un joint en associant un élément de couverture (9) qui recouvre des panneaux adjacents (2, 3) à une attache (8) qui maintient l'élément de couverture en place.
