The present invention for the first time proposes a system (1) for loading and unloading loose cargo in a cargo hold (41), preferably of a plane (4). The system (1) comprises a conveyor apparatus (2) for transporting the loose cargo between a tarmac level or the like and a cargo hold opening, wherein the conveyor apparatus (2) comprises a transport organ (21) on whose transport side (24) the loose cargo lies during loading and unloading. Moreover the system (1) comprises an intermediate conveyor means (3) which rests on the transport side of the conveyor apparatus (2) in the range of a cargo hold-side end thereof and extends into the cargo hold (41) for conveying loose cargo lying on a conveying side (37) of the intermediate conveyor means (3) between the conveyor apparatus (2) and the cargo hold (41). The transport organ (21) is to be deflected, in front of the placed- on intermediate conveyor means (3) when viewed in the direction of loading- conveying, perpendicular to the plane of transport in a direction towards the conveying side (37) of the intermediate conveyor means (3), so as to guide the loose cargo onto the conveying side (37) of the intermediate conveyor means (3).
L'invention concerne un système (1) conçu pour charger des articles dans un compartiment de chargement (41), en particulier d'un avion (4), ainsi que pour les décharger. Ce système (1) comprend un appareil de manutention (2) servant à transporter les articles entre le plan de la piste ou analogue, et une ouverture de compartiment de chargement. Selon l'invention, cet appareil de manutention (2) est pourvu d'un organe de transport (21), et les articles reposent sur le côté transport (24) de cet organe de transport lors du chargement et du déchargement. Le système (1) selon l'invention comporte en outre un dispositif de manutention intermédiaire (3) qui est disposé dans la zone d'une extrémité de cet appareil de manutention (2) située côté compartiment de chargement, sur le côté transport, et qui s'étend dans le compartiment de chargement (41), pour transporter des articles reposant sur un côté manutention (37) du dispositif de manutention intermédiaire (3), entre l'appareil de manutention (2) et le compartiment de chargement (41). Cette invention est caractérisée en ce que l'organe de transport (21) doit être incliné, dans la direction de manutention de chargement avant le dispositif de manutention intermédiaire (3), de manière perpendiculaire au plan de transport, en direction du côté manutention (37) du dispositif de manutention intermédiaire (3), pour guider les articles sur le côté manutention (37) du dispositif de manutention intermédiaire (3).
