ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A system for mooring a ship or like floating vessel, in particular an oil-tanker, to an off-shore column and for transferring a fluid cargo such as for example, gas, petroleum oil or the like, using articulated arms carried by the head of said column and adapted to rotate about the latter, wherein the improvement consists in that said system comprises at least one arm carried by the said head and connected at its free end to an extensible device carrying a connector device adapted to be secured to a conduit provided on said vessel, said connector device being additionally connected to said head by a hawser.
