The invention relates to a system for opening and closing the flap (1) of a casing for the landing gear of an aircraft, said system comprising mechanical connection means between the landing gear and the flap. Said connection means comprise a first connecting rod (5) which is fixed to the landing gear, and a second connecting rod (4) which is fixed to the flap (1), the first and second connecting rods being connected by an articulation means (6).
