A computer-implemented method manages the execution of one or more processes (Fig. 19) within a processing period, each process having a completion priority (934). The method includes determining an in- terval based on the number of processes currently executing on a processor (932); executing the one or more processes during the interval; upon reach-ing the end of the interval (944), determining a remaining processing time associated with one or more remaining processes (946); and if the remain-ing processing time exceeds the difference between the processing period and the interval (948), terminating one or more remaining processes based on the completion priority of each process (950).
Un procédé assisté par ordinateur permet la gestion de l'exécution d'un ou plusieurs processus dans une période de traitement, chaque processus possédant une priorité d'exécution. Ledit procédé consiste à déterminer un intervalle en fonction du nombre de processus en cours d'exécution sur un processeur ; à exécuter le ou les processus pendant l'intervalle ; à la fin de l'intervalle, à déterminer un temps de traitement restant associé au(x) processus restant(s) ; et si le temps de traitement restant dépasse la différence entre la période de traitement et l'intervalle, terminer le ou les processus restants selon la priorité d'exécution de chaque processus.
