The piloting system (1) comprises a flight guidance computer (10) which comprises a means (11) for computing directly with the aid of a position indication and of information characterizing a virtual approach axis, linear deviations, and a means (13) for computing, with the aid of said linear deviations, piloting instructions for the aircraft.
