According to the invention, navigation satellites (1) are at least partially managed by at least three management satellites (3.1 to 3.3) positioned on high orbits inclined in relation to the equator (E). Said high orbits intersect the equatorial plane along intersecting diametrical straight lines (5.1 to 5.3), such that the two outer intersecting diametrical lines (5.2, 5.3) form therebetween an angle of longitude (2T) that is at least equal to 90°.

Selon l'invention, les satellites de navigation (1) sont au moins partiellement gérés par au moins trois satellites de gestion (3.1 à 3.3) placés sur des orbites hautes inclinées par rapport à l'équateur (E). Ces orbites hautes coupent le plan de l'équateur (E) suivant des droites d'intersection diamétrales (5.1 à 5.3) telles que les deux droites d'intersection diamétrales externes (5.2, 5.3) font entre elles un angle de longitude (20) au moins égal à 90°.
