ABSTRACT System for positioning and maintaining in place a plate of an office furniture upon a rest block, characterized in that it comprises: - an intermediate piece in the shape of a brace, one side of said brace being horizontal plate comprising means for blocking the same into the upper face of said rest block, and the other side of said brace being a vertical cylinder portion having the shape and dimensions of a recess provided in the external edge of said plate of office furniture, - and a blocking stud adapted to pass through a hole of said cylinder portion and to engage a hole in the bottom of said recess, - said stud having a head being formed as a brace the two sides of which having the shape and dimensions of said recess so that said recess is fully closed when said stud is forced into said holes.
