A hearing aid programming system with a host computer system (10) including a program for programming a hearing aid. The host computer system includes a first communication interface for sending and receiving control and data signals. A hearing aid programming interface device is connected to the communication interface of the host computer system and including a second communication interface for sending and receiving control and data signals. The hearing aid programming interface device also includes circuitry for electrically isolating the hearing aid to be programm from the host computer. The first communication interface may be PCMCIA, USB, RS-232, SCSI or IEEE 1394 interfaces, which are arranged to send and receive serial data and control signals to the hearing aid programming interface device. The first communication interface may also be a wireless communications interface which wirelessly sends and receives control and data signals with the hearing aid programming interface device.
La présente invention concerne un système de programmation pour prothèses auditives possédant un système d'ordinateur hôte (10) avec programme de programmation desdites prothèses. Le système d'ordinateur hôte comprend une première interface de communication capable d'envoyer et de recevoir des signaux de commande et de données. Un dispositif d'interface de programmation pour prothèses auditives est relié à l'interface de communication au niveau du système d'ordinateur hôte et comprend une seconde interface de communication pour l'émission et la réception de signaux de commande et de données. Le dispositif d'interface de programmation des prothèses auditives comprend également un circuit permettant d'isoler les prothèses auditives à programmer de l'ordinateur hôte. La première interface de communication peut être du type PCMCIA, USB,RS-232, SCSI ou IEEE 1394, lesquelles sont agencées pour envoyer et recevoir des données en série et des signaux de commande au dispositif d'interface de programmation des prothèses auditives. La première interface de communication peut également être reliée par liaison sans fil au dispositif d'interface de programmation pour auxiliaires auditifs. et envoyer et recevoir par voie hertzienne des signaux de commande et de données.
