A system for sealing an electrical connection in a terminal block where a gel is placed in an actuator which is slidable on a connector housing between lowered and raised positions, and grease is placed in the connector housing around a pair of mounted IDC clips. when the actuator is in its lowered or closed position, where electrically conductive wires and the IDC clips are engaged, the gel and grease make contact and the grease flows about the gel to fill any openings to provide better insulation. The grease also lessens the gel's stickiness. With the grease there is also less resistance to movement of the actuator from its lowered position to its raised position.
