A system for the exploration for or extrac- tion of raw materials, minerals or the like in a soft underwater bottom near land (4) consists of at least one fixed head (8a, 8b; 8e) placed in the water (6). A first cable (12a, 12b) runs from a first winch (16a; 16c; 16e) set up on the land (4) or on the head to a second winch (16b; 16d; 16f) set at a distance on the land (4) or on the head. Between a fixed point (14) on the first cable (12a, 12b) and a point of a vehicle (25) which can be propelled on the land (4), a second cable (22) is stretched by means of which exploration (28) or extraction means can be moved, between the last mentioned two points, along or across the under- water bottom.
Système de recherche et d'extraction de matières premières, de minerais ou analogue au fond d'une masse d'eau à fond meuble et non loin du rivage (4). Ce système se compose d'au moins une tête fixe (8a, 8b; 8c) placée dans l'eau (6). Un premier câble (12a, 12b) s'étend entre un premier treuil (16a; 16c; 16e) installé sur la terre (4) ou sur la tête, et un second treuil (16b; 16d; 16f) situé à une certaine distance sur la terre (4) ou sur la tête. Un second câble (22) est tendu entre un point fixe (14) sur le premier câble (12a, 12b) et un point situé sur un véhicule (25) pouvant se déplacer sur la terre (4). Ce second câble permet de déplacer un dispositif de recherche (28) ou d'extraction longitudinalement ou latéralement au fond de la masse d'eau, entre les deux points précités.
