A method and implementing this method system for transmission, broadcasting and displaying still and sequential digital images over a communication networks. It includes a server device that allows to capture digital images or to process available digital image such that the original image is divided spatially onto pieces. Each piece is assigned unique identification and some hash value derived from its digital content. Image pieces with unique hash value or set of hash values are stored in the storage facility providing access for server device to store image pieces with unique hash value. A client device is capable to acquire periodically or on notification from storage facility image pieces with identification and hash value. Client device arranges these pieces together as part or the whole visible or electronically stored original image.
