The first contact lens (1) is placed on the dominating eye and includes a central spherical area (5) for distance vision, which is surrounded by an annular non-spherical area (7) having a diopter in the form of progessive addition which varies from zero addition at the inner periphery to a maximum addition at the outer periphery, and which enables vision, at all distances including reading. The second contact lens (3) is placed on the dominated eye. The central area (13) is spherical and adjusted for reading. The non-spherical annular area (15) has a progressive reduction from maximum addition to zero addition, which enables vision from reading to intermediate and distance vision. This system provides in most cases 95-100 % vision at all distances.

La première lentille de contact (1) est placée sur l'oeil directeur et elle comprend une zone sphérique centrale (5) pour la vision éloignée; cette zone est entourée par une zone annulaire non sphérique (7) possédant un dioptre sous la forme d'une addition progressive qui varie d'une addition nulle à la périphérie intérieure à une addition maximale à la périphérie extérieure, et qui permet la vision, à toutes les distances, y compris à la distance de lecture. La deuxième lentille de contact (3) est placée sur l'autre oeil. Sa zone centrale (13) est sphérique et conçue pour la lecture. Sa zone annulaire non sphérique (15) a une réduction progressive qui va d'une addition maximale à une addition nulle, ce qui rend possible la vision de près, la vision intermédiaire et la vision éloignée. Ce système offre dans la plupart des cas une vision de 95 à 100 % pour toutes les distances.
